Kami is listed by the Legal 500 as a leading individual in film and television. He is a visiting lecturer to film MA courses, has provided expert evidence in complex film finance cases and published articles in the Entertainment Law Review.
Most recently, he has provided input for the House of Lords Communications Committee in relation to public service broadcasting in the age of video on demand.
Kami worked in the film industry and produced eight international feature films with leading cast and film-makers.
Kami heads the film team at tier-one entertainment firm, Clintons.
His work spans the full content value chain and is cross-platform, with an international client base including studios, streamers and independents. He is best known for handling financing transactions, high value talent deals, complex rights deals (for both buyers and sellers), life rights and documentaries.
Recent work includes “Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now”, and “A Man Called Otto” starring Tom Hanks. He has also worked on several of the highest value rights deals in television in the UK.
