Koen Vandecaveye is Head of Investment Promotion at Barcelona & Partners, a non-profit agency which aims to attract innovative companies to the city. In this role, he promotes Barcelona as a hub for Life Sciences & Deeptech.
Previously he worked at London & Partners where he supported over one hundred science & technology companies successfully expand to London.
Koen studied and worked in China for 10 years and founded the China Working Group at Tech London Advocates which works to create awareness of opportunities in both tech clusters and provides a platform for entrepreneurs to connect. He is also an advocate for LGBT+ diversity in the tech sector.
