Dr. Nadia Carlsten is the Vice President of Product at Sandbox AQ, where she is responsible for overseeing the product development across the company's endeavors in quantum security, quantum sensing, and simulation and optimization. Dr. Carlsten previously served as the Head of Product at the AWS Center for Quantum Computing, where she played a crucial role in defining the strategy for quantum hardware and launched Amazon Braket, the quantum computing service of AWS. In addition, she has led commercialization initiatives at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, effectively bringing new technologies in cybersecurity and machine learning to the market. Dr. Carlsten holds a Ph.D. in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
