Philip is the VP of Engineering of Goodnotes - the No.1 note-taking app on iPad serving 20M+ monthly active users. Philip leads the whole engineering & QA organization of Goodnotes of 100+ engineers. Over the years, the team has been deeply invested in on-device AI technologies with user data privacy and security as one of the top priority.

Prior to Goodnotes, Philip is  a Co-Founder of NEX Team, a mobile AI company that revolutionizes sports and exercises through computer vision technologies. Philip also Co-founded FoundersHK, a non-profit organization to bridge the tech community between Silicon Valley and Hong Kong and to unite Hong Kong entrepreneurs across the globe. Philip is also an angel investor, advises and mentors for various tech startups.

Philip is born and raised in HK, graduated from worked at Microsoft and Apple as an engineering manager prior to founding NEX Team.
