Stef van Grieken is the co-founder and CEO of Cradle, the platform that helps scientists to design and program proteins. An expert in AI and machine learning, Stef leads the team at Cradle as they scale their platform that reduces the time and cost of making bio-based products, ultimately making human consumption far more sustainable by helping to replace many of the industrial farming and factories that damage the planet.

Before co-founding the company in 2021, Stef was part of product leadership at Google AI & Machine Intelligence, and at Google X focused on AI infrastructure and developer tooling applied research.
