Leen is a Brussels-based software entrepreneur & WebXR expert turned investor. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Leen worked for 10 years with several technology startups in Ghent, London, and Brussels. She first co-founded tech.eu next to Robin Wauters in 2014.

In 2016, she founded a WebVR distribution company LucidWeb. With them, she successfully raised 1m$ and sourced a developed team in Belgium to bring the SaaS distribution platform finally to market in 2020. The platform was used by international film festivals like SXSW, Geneva International Film Festival, Lichter Film Festival Frankfurt, as well as Docubase by MIT.

Leen is also co-founder of Women in Immersive Tech, the first European NGO to work with Meta on making the Metaverse more diverse & safe. The group counts more than 2,900 members across Europe.

In early 2022, she joined Miles Ahead, a new Venture Studio based in Ghent focused on building & investing in unique innovations in AI, Deep Tech and Web3.
