Kieron Boyle
CEO - Guy's & St Thomas Foundation
Kieron Boyle is a leader in new models of impact and commercial approaches to social change.
Since 2016, he has been the Chief Executive of Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation, one of the world's oldest health foundations. Through its philanthropic arm, the foundation works with businesses, governments and communities to pioneer new ways of addressing urban health inequalities. Its investment arm is one of the UK's leading responsible and health impact investors.
Kieron is the co-founder of many impact-driven organisations and initiatives. These include Impact on Urban Health, Big Society Capital, Access Foundation, the Government Outcomes Lab and the Arts Impact Fund.
Kieron previously led the UK government's work on impact investment. Prior to this, he worked at No.10 Downing Street, the Department for Business, the Foreign Office and the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group.
Kieron sits on the Boards of Big Society Capital and the Design Council. He chairs LIPH — a global coalition of institutional investors working to improve people's health — as well as Nesta's Cultural Impact Development Fund. He sits on the IPPR cross-party Commission into Health and Prosperity and on the Board of SC1, an initiative to create a new life sciences district in central London. Kieron is also on the advisory councils of the Impact Investing Institute and The Investment Integration Project.
Kieron was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is passionate about the role of data and design in shaping our health.
