Jay serves as EY’s Global Emerging Technology Ecosystem (GETE) Leader, working across service lines to manage a portfolio of relationships with emerging AI and data platform technology companies, as well as investors. In his role, Jay continues to expand and secure new alliances with innovative companies, to help fuel EY’s next wave of growth.

Jay also serves as a Global Client Service Partner and Senior Advisory Partner across several accounts, as well as executive sponsor of several technology alliances.

He previously led EY's Americas Risk Management and served as Vice Chair of Risk Management in the U.S. and Americas. During his 30+ years at EY, Jay has built several practices, held several market-facing and leadership roles across numerous global accounts, and is widely recognized for his steadfast leadership and commitment to upholding the health and safety of everyone at EY during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He was formerly the Presiding Partner of EY Americas and U.S. Partner Councils, plus a member of the EY Global Governance Council, Global Practice Group, Americas Operating Executive, and US Executive Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Calgary and Harvard Business School, and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
